Executive Director Cheryl Little was a panelist at the July Annual Conference of the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials in Chicago. The conference theme was “Gideon at 50: A Look at Public Defense In America.” She shared her expertise on the serious consequences for immigrants of arrests for minor criminal violations, such as traffic violations.
