AI Justice Summer Law Clerks

AI JUSTICE WELCOMES SUMMER LAW CLERKS

Newsletter  |  Spring 2014
Vol. 18, Issue No. 2

Each summer, AI Justice is excited to welcome an energetic, inspired group of law students who want to contribute their time and effort to our organization and our clients.  They work alongside our attorneys and paralegals in each of our legal programs.  This year, we have 8 law clerks from UM School of Law and FIU College of Law. In addition to the law clerks, we also have and undergraduate intern from UF and a paralegal intern from MDC.

Ali Iftikhar just finished his second year at UM Law, has spent time working with the Council on American Islamic Relations, and is excited about spending his summer with AI Justice.

Claire Wheeler, who just finished her first year at UM Law School, said “I came to Miami because I wanted to work with immigrant women and children.  While at UM, I learned about the work that AI Justice does and couldn’t wait to work with them!”

Brian Vaca, who just finished his first year at FIU College of Law, chose to intern at AI Justice because of “past experiences with friends and family” who had challenges with the immigration system.
